What to Expect from Your Immigration Psychological Evaluation
I strive to make the evaluation process supportive, thorough, and easy to navigate—especially during what can be a very stressful time.
Here's how it works:
The Evaluation Process
1. Initial Consultation
We'll start with a brief phone or video call to understand your situation and determine the best approach for your evaluation.
2. Two Clinical Interviews
You’ll participate in two in-depth sessions, either in person or via secure video. During these sessions, we’ll explore your personal history, family dynamics, and the emotional impact of your current immigration situation.
Standardized assessments may be used to evaluate symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health concerns, providing clear, evidence-based support for your case.
4. Comprehensive Written Report
Within 15 business days of your final session, a detailed, professional report will be completed and sent to both you and your attorney. This report will clearly outline your psychological profile and the potential hardship you or your loved ones may face due to separation or deportation.
The goal is to ensure your story is heard with accuracy, compassion, and clinical credibility. If you have questions or need your report sooner, expedited services may be available upon request.
