Private Couples Intensives
More Progress in a Weekend Than Most Couples See in a Year.
Not because we work faster. Because we go deeper.
Weekly therapy gives you an hour to scratch the surface, then sends you back into the same patterns. An intensive gives you something different, enough time, enough safety, and enough attunement for real shifts to take hold.
When two people learn to co-regulate, to feel each other's nervous systems rather than just react to them, the relationship changes at a level that lasts.
That's what we do here.
Clarity. Containment. Real movement.
It’s time to work on your relationship, not each other.
Why a Couples Intensive Works
Weekly couples therapy can be helpful, but many couples need more time to settle, regulate, and practice new ways of being together.
When we grow up with unavailable or conflicted parents, we learn to protect ourselves by withdrawing or over-functioning. In marriage, those 'intelligent adaptations' eventually turn into the walls that make you feel like you’ve forgotten why you’re even together.
An intensive doesn't just talk about the distance; it creates a safe container to dismantle those protections in real-time, allowing for a level of healthy closeness that 50 minutes a week simply can't facilitate
Somewhere underneath the distance, the disconnection, and the years, the two of you are still there.
What a Couples Intensive Looks Like
This is a premium, concierge-level clinical experience. Your investment covers more than just the five hours in the chair:
Pre-Intensive Assessment: A comprehensive digital intake to ensure we hit the ground running from Minute One.
The 5-Hour Deep Dive : Focused, unhurried time with a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20+ years of experience. We can complete this in one day or split it between two days.
The Integration Toolkit: A custom digital PDF of the communication blueprints and grounding exercises we develop during your session.
A "Momentum" Follow-up: A scheduled 20-minute check-in call two weeks later to troubleshoot your new tools in the real world.
In one focused weekend, we can do the deep work that usually takes months. Let’s see if an intensive is the right fit for your story.

Five Hours to Change the Direction of Everything.
The High-Impact Intensive $1,350
Some things don't need years to shift. They need the right conditions, the right depth of attunement, and enough uninterrupted time to actually move.
In five focused hours, we go further than most couples go in months , past the surface arguments, past the managed distance, into the real places where connection was lost and where it can be found again.
This is where the turning point happens.

Who Am I ?
My name is Leana Sykes, and I specialize in helping adults heal the lasting impact of emotionally immature, alienating, or inconsistent parenting, so early family dynamics no longer shape their relationships, self-trust, or future.
I don’t believe therapy should be vague, passive, or open-ended by default.
While insight and emotional expression matter, they are rarely sufficient on their own. What’s often missing is structure: a clear container that helps patterns become visible, workable, and changeable.
I approach therapy as a form of relational architecture.
That means:
guiding my couples towards establishing the philosophy, vision, and rules of engagement for your relationship
creating clear agreements and expectations
slowing interactions down enough to see what’s actually happening
helping people recognize how old wiring shows up in present-day moments
translating insight into behavior that holds up outside the therapy room
This is why I often work in intensives or extended sessions rather than relying solely on weekly therapy. Some work requires continuity, depth, and focus, not constant restarting.
